Why Veela exists

Every Australian Pty Ltd company carries the same quiet obligations: registers kept accurate, resolutions passed and minuted, ASIC told within its deadlines. It's real legal work with real penalties — and for most small companies, it mostly doesn't get done. The choice has been DIY templates you're not sure about, or professional firms priced for companies much larger than yours.

Veela is the third option: an AI company secretary that does the drafting, checking, record-keeping and chasing — with a named human accountable for every record it produces. Ask a question, get an answer with citations. Approve a draft, and the resolution circulates, signs, lands in the minute book and updates the register on its own. When ASIC needs to know, the pack is already prepared.

We're an Australian company — Veela AI Pty Ltd — building for Australian companies first, because company secretarial work is jurisdictional to its core. The Corporations Act, ASIC's forms and the s204A company secretary are not details you can generalise away; they're the product.

What we hold ourselves to

A named human is always accountable

AI drafts, checks and explains — it never decides. Nothing circulates, writes to a register or reaches ASIC without a named person's approval, because that's what the Corporations Act actually requires of officers, and no software should pretend otherwise.

The register is the source of truth

Your cap table isn't a spreadsheet that gets reconciled later — it's rendered live from the register, and every passed resolution writes straight through. If the record and the paperwork can't drift apart, they can't disagree in a due diligence.

Show the working

Every answer Ask Veela gives cites the constitution clause, register entry or statute it relied on. You should never have to take a governance answer on faith — from software or from anyone else.

Honest labels

The sandbox says its responses are canned. The roadmap says what isn't built. Drafts say when no human has reviewed them. A governance product that oversells is a contradiction in terms.

Talk to the people behind it

We read everything that comes through the contact form, and a real person replies — usually within one business day.
